Today We weep with those who weep

On December 29th 1890, 300 men, women and children were massacred. This was a calculated systematic ethnic cleansing effort made on the pretext of taking away the guns of the Lakota Sioux. It is to our shame as a nation that there has yet to be justice extended by revoking the medal of honor awards to those who took part in this merciless act of inhuman violence.  Just as we can never turn our eyes away from the Holocaust perpetrated on the Jews in Nazi Germany, neither can we turn our eyes away from the truth, the United States perpetrated its own Holocust against the Native Americans, The American Indians, The First Nation people of North America. To find true hope for our country we must face these facts and repent. We must find healing for every member of the Five Hundred and Sixty Six Native American Nations that still exist today in the boundaries of North America.

America for all that is good about the founding of the United States we must also face what is ugly.

We repent O God, Our Creator and ask you to forgive us for the atrocities perpetrated by our forefathers.

Make a way we pray for healing, reconciliation and restitution.
